Bentley University Students Offer Free Income Tax Help to Waltham and Surrounding Community Residents

Bentley University students will offer free tax return preparation for residents of Waltham, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities, through  April 12 (with the exception of Spring Break, March 12-21). This is the thirteenth consecutive year Bentley has offered this service through the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Bentley University Takes First Place at the National College Fed Challenge

Bentley University won the national title at the seventh annual College Fed Challenge held at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. on November 30, 2010. Bentley placed first among teams from Lafayette College, Northwestern University, Rutgers University at Newark, and Virginia Commonwealth University. The finals were held in the Boardroom at the Board of Governors as the capstone to district competitions.

Bentley University Launches Student-Led Initiatives to Combat Bullying

Students and faculty at Bentley University, in cooperation with the Bentley Service-Learning Center, have launched an anti-bullying campaign that extends from their Waltham, Mass. community into local schools and nearby communities. Designed to be run by students, the One Goal, One Community: Moving Beyond Bullying and Empowering for Life initiative is focused on educating community members and soliciting their commitment to help change behaviors and put an end to bullying.
