The Bentley College Women's Leadership Institute (WLI) names iRelaunch as the recipient of the 2007 Workplace Innovations Award. The award will be presented by Bentley President Gloria Cordes Larson on Wednesday, November 7, at the WLI Career Re-Launch Expo and Networking Night for stay-at-home mothers from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Bentley campus.

IRS Director Michael Chesman will urge tax and financial professionals to "do the right thing" at the 14th Annual IRS Town Meeting on Monday, October 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bentley College in the Wilder Pavilion, Adamian Academic Center. The program is sponsored by the Bentley Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Department and the Internal Revenue Service.
On October 10, KPMG LLP selected Bentley sophomore Rahul Sevani for its Future Diversity Leaders (FDL) program. Sevani was among 50 students from across the nation chosen to participate in the newly launched program, which is designed to provide leadership training and financial support for outstanding minority undergraduate business students.
Beyond Grey Pinstripes, a biennial survey and alternative ranking of business schools by the Aspen Institute, has named the Bentley McCallum Graduate School to its Global 100 list. Bentley entered the rankings at #55 and ranked 2nd in the Northeast in faculty research.
The Bentley College McCallum Graduate School of Business was named one of the Best Business Schools in the country in the 2008 guidebook published by The Princeton Review. Bentley was also ranked # 7 in the nation for its state-of-the-art campus facilities. According to the student surveys:

Those who knew her, those who have lost other friends or loved ones, and those who just feel a strong connection to fellow students. We often first turn to friends and family who can be the most helpful. But when they cannot help or are unavailable, I would not want any of you to feel that there is no place where you can talk or grieve.
On Monday morning, October 8, 2007, Erin Ortiz, an 18 year old first year student at Bentley College, died from bacterial meningitis at Westchester Medical Center in her home state of New York.
Two high school students will get the chance to make a hit in the Major Leagues next summer, courtesy of Bentley College. Bentley and Major League Baseball.com (MLB.com) are sponsoring the fourth season of the "Break Into the Biz of Baseball" challenge, in which two high school students from across America win a one-month internship in summer 2008 with the Boston Red Sox or New York Mets.
