Waltham, Mass.- On Monday, December 4, Rachel Manley, author of Drumblair: Memories of a Jamaican Childhood (Governor General's Award-Winner for Non-Fiction in 1997), Slipstream and more will be reading at Bentley College. Manley, a former Bunting Fellow for Literature at Radcliffe College who now lives in Canada is the daughter of Michael Manley, three-time prime minister of Jamaica.

  WALTHAM, Mass.- Bentley College in Waltham has dedicated its main auditorium in honor of Lincoln resident Arthur G. Koumantzelis, a 1949 graduate of the college. The dedication ceremony took place in August, with about 50 friends and family members in attendance.

  Waltham, Mass.- Barnes & Noble, Inc. Chief Executive Office Leonard Riggio has established an undergraduate scholarship fund at Bentley College. The new scholarship, which will be known as the John Battaglino Leadership Award, honors Battaglino, trustee emeritus of Bentley College, community leader, and a longtime executive in the field of collegiate bookstores.
