The Health Studies degree is an innovative program that integrates the Natural and Applied Sciences health and psychology curricula with our core programs in business. This program provides students with an understanding of physical and psychological health, and the translation of advances in biology to benefit individuals, businesses and society. Courses focus on issues related to personal health and development, public health, the biopharmaceutical industry and health care practices. These courses focus on the core fields of human biology, psychology, genetics and medicine, and an understanding of applications to health and wellness practices, human resources, organization management, health care communications, and the biopharmaceutical and health care industries.
With this degree, you will have a strong foundation in the laboratory sciences, as well as the flexibility to tailor your studies to a specific area of interest, such as health policy, health psychology, biotechnology, and global or environmental health.
