As a student transitioning from the undergraduate to the graduate program here at Bentley, we would like to make you aware of information available to you as a graduate student regarding your Bentley notebook.
- Although you plan to remain at Bentley, you will no longer be participating in the Mobile Computing Program; therefore, you must run the Leaving Bentley Checkout (LBC) utility. Many applications including Microsoft Office are legally licensed to remain on your notebook. The Sophos Antivirus software license becomes invalid after you graduate from Bentley and must be removed via the LBC process prior to continuing on to the graduate program.
- If you have paid four semesters of the $600 technology fee on your current notebook computer, you will receive an email stating your notebook computer has been returned from your account; this process stops the billing of $600 per semester for the undergraduate technology fee.
- You are no longer entitled to the hardware repair service under the Mobile Computing Program. Please click here to see if your notebook is covered under HP warranty. You will be asked to provide your serial number and product number. If your notebook is covered you will be directed to contact HP for service.
- As a full-time graduate student, a technology fee of $100 per semester will be posted to your student account.
