Steps to Apply for Financial Aid

Please be sure to complete all of the steps below so we can provide you with an award before the enrollment deposit deadline.

Step 1: Complete the College Scholarship Service Profile (also known as the CSS Profile).

Step 2: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (also known as the FAFSA).

Step 3: Submit your tax return from the previous year until the return for the following year has become available. If you are able to submit copies of your 2012 federal tax returns and schedules by March 1, we encourage you to do so to increase the accuracy of our initial estimate of eligibility. Tax returns are required once you commit to Bentley; they should be mailed to the Office of Financial Assistance when you send your enrollment deposit, if you were unable to send the tax documents by March 1.

Step 4: Review our list of Supplemental Forms to ensure that there are no additional forms that need filing (i.e. for self-employed or separated parents).

Step 5: Remain aware of the deadlines below.
