Payment Plans

The Bentley University Payment Plan can help align the payment of your college costs into your family’s monthly budget. Families can spread the costs out over five months each semester.

We are pleased to offer several payment options available to students. Please see below for information on all accepted payment methods and payment plans.

Online Payments

Bentley University accepts payment via eCheck and credit card.

Undergraduate say students may pay via eCheck at no extra cost. If you wish to pay with a credit card (MasterCard, Discover or American Express), you may do so through the CASHNet SmartPay system, however you will incur a service charge of 2.75 percent of the amount charged.

Graduate and evening students may pay with eCheck or credit card at no extra cost. Bentley University accepts VISA, MasterCard or Discover as an acceptable credit card for these students.

Check and Cash Payments

Paper check payments with the top portion of the bill should be mailed to the Bentley University lockbox address at:

If the Cashier's Office is closed, we provide payment envelopes and have a secure drop box for you to make payments. The payment will be posted to your account on the next business day.

Semester Payment Plans

Bentley University is implementing new payment plans for the next academic year. To enroll in a payment plan, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into MyBentley and select the Finances tab
  2. Select the following: Finance Student Self-Service > Student Account Information > E-Bill and E-Payment
  3. Select the appropriate payment plan and complete the necessary steps

Full-time Undergraduate Student Payment Plan

The full-time undergraduate student payment plan is semester-based; the fall plan runs July through November, with enrollment ending September 20, and the spring plan runs from December through April, with enrollment ending February 20. Enrollment in the payment plan is only available online and carries a nonrefundable enrollment fee of $35 per payment plan.

This plan has a maximum of five installments, based on enrollment date. Plan amount and payments automatically adjust as a result of changes to the student's account balance and are adjusted throughout the remainder of the installment plan. Installment payments due on 15th of each month and may be made via electronic check or through automatic withdrawals from a back account. We will send you an e-mail reminder when your payment is due.

Payments not received within five days of the due date will be assessed a late payment fee of $20. The payment plan will be terminated after two consecutive missed payments. The account is subject to policies set forth by Student Financial Services (see Policies and Procedures).

Summer Payment Plans

Enrollment in summer payment plans is only available online and carries an enrollment fee of $25 per payment plan. Payments may be made via electronic check, credit card, or automatic withdrawal from a bank account; we will send you an e-mail reminder when your payment is due. Plan amount and payments automatically adjust as a result of changes to the student's account balance and are adjusted throughout the remainder of the installment plan.
