MA. Join GSA and volunteer with other weekly volunteers in inspecting, sorting, and packaging new

and/or like-new donations into customized “KidPacks” for children around the Boston area.

Details: GMO and GITMA are cohosting this event! Professor David Oury is going to introduce data visualization from data analysis aspect. Another speaker, who is a friend of Professor Oury, will introduce data visualization from reporting viewpoint based on his business professional experience.

This workshop would be a great opportunity for Bentley students to start understanding data in a new way and learn about basic tools to utilize data visualization. Data visualization is the new trend of data analysis field, and our workshop will be a good way for students to know more about it since this knowledge isn't included in our curriculum.

Details: After our successful event back in Sep 28, 2013 and because we got a lot of requests to have this event again, coming 5th Apr 2014 we are going to arrange another event of ‘‘Painting and Shiraz wine’’.

 Jim Kociuba, one of the most prominent artists of Boston, will be the host for our creative event. ‘’ Bentley Tower “will be painted. No proficiency and no prior painting experience are required (Everyone would enjoy having fun and creating their own spirit in painting).

Details: The Bentley European Club (BEC) is welcoming Erta Karaj, Strategic Financial Officer at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Erta moved with her family from Europe to the US at the age of 18 and she did not speak any English. Today she is a successful finance professional who was promoted numerous times in various industries as well as in academia. As result of her experience, Erta will share tips about how to create a professional network from scratch. She will also provide insight into how to succeed in corporate America.

For people who are not participating in the event, we will have a reception going on in Harry's Pub at the same time of the competition. This was you can relax, watch the competition live and cheer on the contestants.

Popular Event: The Meet & Greet & Eat Networking Event

February 6, 2014: The Bentley Graduate Network (previously McCallum Connect) In association with GITMA, HFIDO, and Graduate Career Services hosted the biggest alumni meetup of the year. Recent graduates in the IT, HFID, and Business Analytics fields were invited back to network with current students and share their experiences and insights. Eight different companies were represented.

Available positions and responsibilities are:




Must be graduating in May 2015 or later.

Must be passionate about networking and creating opportunities for Bentley Graduate Students to expand their professional networks.


He/she will be responsible for providing guidance for all matters involving the Organization.

The President will monitor and review all communication going out to any external party involved in putting on events.

The President will be the liaison between all Executive Board Members of BGN and GSA and all other Sister Organizations.

Senior Vice President


Must be passionate about networking and creating opportunities for Bentley Graduate Students to expand their professional networks.


The Senior Vice President will work closely with the President to provide guidance for all matters involving the Organization.

The Senior VP will also serve as a liaison between all Executive Board Members of BGN and GSA and all other Sister Organizations.

BGCC is Recruiting!

About BGCC: The Bentley Graduate Consulting Club (BGCC) aims to support the Bentley University graduate degree students interested in pursuing a career opportunity in the consulting industry. Our primary objectives include familiarization with all forms of consulting practices and companies, preparation for case interviews, resource sharing, and networking.

About Our Board: The BGCC executive board is a small team of three members who work collaboratively and closely. There is a lot of room for growth and opportunity to gain new skills while gaining leadership experience on the Bentley campus as well as a chance to network with area consultants.

About the BGCC Recruiting Process: BGCC is looking to recruit three new additions to our current board. Those individuals will have the opportunity to enter a mentorship program for the remainder of this school year and learn about how BGCC operates, gain career advice from current members and will next year be elected in senior executive positions. We are requesting that people who are interested send us a resume by Tuesday, March 25 at 5pm to Candidate interviews will be scheduled for Thursday, March 27 between 12 – 2pm. About Who We are Looking For: We are looking for members who are from diverse backgrounds with a common interest in consulting, passionate about giving back to the Bentley community, willing to commit some of their free time towards  growing professionally on a team as well as for building opportunities for their peers.

Available positions and responsibilities:



  • Manage Communication with GSA and delegate tasks to SVP of Operations and Marketing regarding events, GSA and Bentley policies
  • Manage BGCC email account and relay messages to the appropriate parties internally. Maintain email lists of students and send out messages as needed.
  • Manage Podio Account and oversee progress of event coordination and communications
  • Act as Gateway to BGCC for external company contacts as well as communication with other Bentley clubs

Senior Vice President of Marketing

  • Manage Facebook page and Hootsuite account by posting events, articles and information broadcasted to Bentley community
  • Contribute to Podio Account and update marketing information to communicate with BGCC board

Senior Vice President of Operations

  • Coordinate event logistics by submitting proposals, budget information to GSA and organizing event details such as catering, room reservations and communicating with outside vendors
  • Contribute to and update Podio account with files and project updates to communicate with BGCC Board
