Bentley University provides time off from work to new parents. This policy applies to adoptive parents and foster parents.

Pay During Leave
Adoptive/foster parents may use 2 weeks of accrued sick time. All other time off must be paid through personal and/or vacation time. The employee may save up to one week of vacation time for future use. If paid time off has been exhausted, the employee will be unpaid for the remainder of the leave. While unpaid, the employee will be billed for benefit contributions. If an employee is out before the 10th of the month in an unpaid status, vacation and sick accruals stop for that month. Holidays are paid in full.
This policy may be amended at any time.
