Attendance Expectations

Bentley provides generous time off policies that are intended to help you cope with a variety of needs for time away from work. In turn, you are expected to be at work during the time you are scheduled to work. Consistent attendance is essential to staying current with your work and to performing your job well.

If you must be absent for any reason, you should personally notify your supervisor before the start of the workday. Explain why you cannot come in and how long you expect to be absent. You should call each day that you are absent, unless you and your supervisor have agreed otherwise. Bentley reserves the right to request a note from your physician if you are absent for three or more consecutive days due to illness. If you do not follow this process, you may be considered to have voluntarily resigned from your position, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

This policy may be amended at any time.
