Bi-weekly Payroll Change

Friday, September 16 - The 1st Bi-weekly payroll check.  This will be your first partial bi-weekly paycheck for days worked for 9/1 – 9/10, less applicable benefit deductions.

You have received the email notification or perhaps you have heard someone mention it. It’s true! We have moved from a monthly to bi-weekly payroll cycle, which is already in place for our hourly, non-exempt staff and student employees. Making this switch enables the university to standardize our pay practices and time-off reporting across the university, as well as increase efficiency for payroll, human resources and supervisors. And it just makes sense to have all staff on the same schedule.  

The transition to a biweekly payroll will take place in phases:

  • Phase I – September 2016 begins the bi-weekly schedule for exempt staff & adjunct faculty  
  • Phase II – July 2017 begins the bi-weekly schedule for full-time faculty
