A military leave of absence will be granted to all employees who are required to attend scheduled drills or training, or who are called to active duty with the United States Armed Services. A military leave will be unpaid; however, Bentley University may make up the difference between the military pay and your regular pay rate upon your return to active employment. You will be required to show proof of payment from the military in order to be compensated by the University.
During your leave, your employee benefits will be kept in force, and your paid-time-off benefits will also continue to accrue. Upon completion of your military leave, every reasonable effort will be made to return you to your previous position, or a comparable one, in accordance with federal and state laws.
