The PhD Project
The mission of the PhD Project is to increase workplace diversity by increasing the diversity of business school faculty who encourage, mentor, support and enhance the preparation of tomorrow’s leaders. The Bentley PhD program has been a participating school in the PhD Project since our inception. For additional information about the PhD Project please visit their website. Doc Net - Consortium of Business Doctoral Programs
DocNet is an organization of universities granting doctoral degrees in business administration and economics. Its purpose is to promote doctoral education in business throughout the world. The organization educates potential students about careers in academia and engages in a variety of recruiting strategies aimed at increasing the pool of qualified applicants for doctoral-granting institutions. DocNet members share information about best practices, curriculum and admissions issues, student support, and placement. DocNet is an affinity group of AACSB International. Accounting Doctoral Scholars Program Orienation Conference
Bentley is one of a small number of schools chosen to participate in the Accounting Doctoral Scholars Program. The ADS Program was created by the biggest accounting firms, in conjunction with the AICPA Foundation, to advocate for an increased number of highly qualified accounting professors. The program provides an additional $40,000 of financial support to qualified participants. Faculty from our PhD in Accountancy Program will be participating in the 2016 ADS Orientation Conference.
