Bentley University: one of the leading business colleges in Boston.
Set minutes west of Boston on a 163-acre campus in Waltham, Massachusetts, Bentley University is a nationally ranked school of business that offers a broad array of undergraduate and graduate programs in Boston. The majority of students at Bentley major in business while also taking approximately half their classes in the arts and sciences. The result is a graduate who not only has deep expertise in business, but a keen understanding of technology, a broad global perspective on solving business challenges and a strong commitment to high ethical standards.
Majors at Bentley include both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. Students may also choose a minor, combining (for example) an accounting and finance degree with a minor in nonprofit organizations to target their studies toward a specific career goal.
Whether you are pursuing a primary business or liberal arts degree, our two optional second major programs allow you to take advantage of the best of both worlds — no extra courses required.
Bentley offers a Liberal Studies Major (LSM) similar to a Liberal Arts Major – an optional second major that sharpens the student's competitive edge by honing the ability to think critically, analytically and creatively. Students pair the Liberal Studies Major or Liberal Arts Major with a primary major in a business discipline or one of the arts and sciences majors requiring a significant business component; you will be able to earn both majors in the same four years.
The Business Studies major (BSM) is an optional second major designed for students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree. This comprehensive major, comparable to business programs available at other schools, introduces you to the core business disciplines and provides another way for you to take full advantage of the unique way our curriculum blends business and the arts and sciences.
