  1. What hours is Campus Police open? 
  2. Can a student park in a staff or faculty designated parking space on the weekends over night?
  3. If I forget my card in my room do I have to get a new card or can an officer let me in my room so I can skip out on charges?
  4. I'm a freshman, can I drive my parents' car back to campus on the weekends only?
  5. If there is absolutely no parking, what should I do and where should I go?
  6. Can I park in fire lane, handicap, staff, etc., spot for like 1 or 2 minutes to drop something off?
  7. I need a new, replacement of a lost or damaged ID card.  What do I do?
  8. Is there a fee for a new, replacement of a damaged ID or Lost/Stolen ID Card?
  9. Can I leave my vehicle on campus when I go on vacation or do I need long or short-term storage for my vehicle?

  1. Campus Police is open 24 hours, seven days a week for emergency purposes.

  2. Students may not park in staff and/or faculty lots between Sunday at 10:00 p.m. and Friday at 6:00 p.m. In the event that there is a three-day weekend as a result of a university-recognized holiday, overnight parking will be extended until 10:00 p.m. on Monday night.

  3. An officer cannot admit you to your room.  If you are sure your ID is in your room, you can contact your RA for assistance to get into your room.

  4. No, freshmen without permission to have a car here cannot have a car on campus at anytime, including weekends.

  5. If you are having trouble locating a place to park, contact Campus Police for assistance locating a legal parking space.

  6. No, parking in a fire lane or handicapped space is strictly forbidden for any length of time. Staff spaces can only be utilized on weekends, see the explanation above.

  7. IDs are available at Campus Police for students, staff and faculty between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.   Please see the Card Office  section of the website for more information as to changes in hours for the Academic Year and Summer.  Resident student who need a replacement of their ID card after hours will be issued a temporary card until the Card Office is open.

  8. For New Incoming Students, Staff & Faculty, New IDs are issued free of charge.  Damaged IDs are replaced at no cost to you if you turn in the current active ID card.  If your ID card is lost or stolen, you can replace that card. The price for the first replacement is $5; the second and third replacement is $10; the fourth and more is $25 each.

  9. Students, staff and faculty are authorized to utilize a designated parking space on campus for short or long-term vehicle storage.  A vehicle storage agreement form must be filled out prior to leaving your vehicle on campus.  The storage agreement clearly covers the legal requirements for the college and pursuant to the General Laws of Massachusetts.
