Awards and Honors

Mohammad (Ali) Abdolmohammadi, Liz Brown, Jeffrey Moriarty, and Jeff Stern were honored with Bentley University’s Outstanding Scholarly Contribution Awards.

In August 2016, Tony Buono provided a keynote address to the Management Consulting Division of the Academy of Management when he was recognized for his lifetime achievements to the field.

Cynthia Clark, Associate Professor, Management, has been named a Fulbright Scholar for the academic year 2016-2017. She will study ethics and corporate governance in Spain, and will be hosted by both the University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Gary Donato received the Community Service Project Award, 5/5/2016 for serving as the Faculty Advisor to the Veteran’s Club Mass Bay Community College for the Veteran’s Club Clothing Drive for Homeless Veterans. Gary was also recognized by Military Friendly Schools 2016; TOP Military Enhanced Education Program; and Best for Vets College awards for Mass Bay Community College military supportive programs.

Jane Fedorowicz was awarded Bentley University’s Mee Prize for a lifetime of research excellence.

Robert Galliers, received the Best European Information Systems Research Paper of the Year Award 2015, CIONet (June 2016)

Diane Kellogg has received a $2.64 million grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to continue her work regarding sanitation options in poverty-ridden parts of Africa such as Nairobi.  

Marco Marabelli, Robert Galliers, and Susan Newell’s paper “The Strategic Role of Power and Materiality in Managing Network Change” was awarded “Best Paper Proceedings” at the August 2016 Academy of Management Meeting.

Jessica Greher Traue is now serving as President of the New England College Health Association

Martin Wiener was awarded the FAU-Habilitationspreis (Habilitation prize), Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany (November 4, 2016)

Alex Zampieron received Bentley University’s Adamian Award for Lifetime Excellence in Teaching.
