Employer demand for data analytics skills is up 82 percent since 2011, according to labor market analysis commissioned by Bentley University. The positions live in IT, sales, marketing and human resources, among other fields, and marry hard skills (subject-matter expertise, statistics knowledge, tech savvy) with soft skills (communication, collaboration, storytelling).
