Off-Campus Housing Information
The Residential Center provides information to the Bentley community about off- campus living opportunities in the surrounding area.
Placing a Listing
If you are seeking a roommate, have a room to rent, or renting an apartment you can fill out an Off-Campus Listing sheet at the Residential Center. On the sheet you must provide your name, contact information, and criteria for the listing. The Residential Center prohibits listings in which additional fees such as realtor fees are charged. If you place a listing the Residential Center requests to be notified when the vacancy is filled. Listings are held for 60 days.
Getting Listings
The Residential Center provides listings of people seeking roommates, rooms for rent, and apartments for rent. If you are searching for a place to live off campus you can come to the Residential Center to receive a copy of the listings. The sheets contain all of the important information about the listings such as when the vacancy was listed, the cost of rent, who to contact about the listing, the location of the apartment or house, and amenities of the apartment or house.
Off-campus listings are maintained by the Bentley University Residential Center for the convenience of students, faculty, and staff who are seeking housing in the local rental market. Inclusion on the listings does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the apartment, room, roommates or listing agent by the university. Before agreeing to the rental agreement you should thoroughly investigate the property and any potential roommates. Charging a student, staff, or faculty member any finders fee is a violation of the agreement between the listing agent and the Residential Center and should be reported to the Residential Center.
