On-campus rooms are approximately 12.5 feet by 16 feet. They come equipped with:
- carpeted floors
- curtains
- beds with 80 inch mattresses (extra-long twin)
- desks and chairs
- drawers and wardrobe space
- data/telephone jack (with individual voicemail for each student)
- air conditioning/heating units
- wireless Internet
- basic cable
- access to a central vacuum system
What to Bring
Your room will have adequate but limited space, so bring only items you need. Basic essentials required for every student include:
- pillow(s), blankets,sheets (extra-long twin sheets since mattresses are over-sized) and pillowcases
- mattress pad
- towels
- toiletry kit,shower shoes
- alarm clock
- clothes hangers
- telephone
You should get in touch with your roommate before you move in to discuss what items each person will bring (e.g., refrigerator, DVD player, television, microwave). This will also ensure that there are no duplicate items.
