Getting Involved

There are many ways to get involved on the Bentley campus. Within the Residence Halls, there are three main opportunities. The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the governing body of the on campus residents. Each building has a Hall Council, where students gain leadership experience and the opportunity to program and direct change within the building. Additionally, becoming a Resident Assistant (RA) is a great way to get involved and make a difference in the Bentley community.

Hall Councils are a great way to get involved. Each residence hall has a hall council that runs programs locally in its specific hall. These councils are open to residents in that hall and are headed by an elected President and Vice President. Each of these councils sponsors small-scale programs in each individual hall on campus. If you are a highly motivated, creative, social individual looking for a challenge, please email RHA@bentley.edu or look for the RHA booth at the activity fair.

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is an active student government for the entire Bentley University residence hall system. Through legislation, committees and policy development, RHA represents the student voice in the residence hall. RHA works with the Office of Residence Life to continually improve the student community at Bentley University through social, educational and recreational programs. RHA also meets weekly to discuss issues and concerns affecting students living in the residence halls. Residents can voice their opinions on any issue by attending a General Board meeting or by contacting any active member of RHA.
