Commencement Week Trip Details

Trip includes:
Round trip airfare, four nights at the Atlantis Hotel Resort and Casino on Paradise Island, one non-transferable ticket to the senior ball, a departure BBQ on Saturday, a celebration dinner scheduled at a location restaurant a breakfast and four lunches as scheduled, free admission to selected nightclubs, events, workshops, games, side trips, bus transfers from campus to the hotel, housing on campus until graduation and all departure taxes.

Price for graduating seniors:
Triple Room - TBD
Upgrade to a Double Room - TBD

A student must be determined eligible to walk or have successfully petitioned to graduate to qualify for the senior trip. Due to the increased participation rates, students must be walking in graduation this Spring. In addition, the senior trip will not accommodate any guests or someone who has been a previous participant on the trip.

People are responsible for filling their own room at the hotel. The class cabinet will not place individuals in any Atlantis rooms without the consent of all roommates. Any rooms not filled to capacity will be subject to additional charges.

Fees for Commencement Week are non-refundable. Students will not be refunded any money if they cancel or if their participation is restricted by Bentley for violations of college policies. In the event that the event needs to be canceled or changed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to provide refunds if refunds are provided to Bentley by third parties.

Students with financial holds will not be eligible to register for Commencement Week. Students’ accounts must be clear prior to participation. Students must be in good judicial standing prior to registering, and they must maintain good judicial status prior to participation.

Commencement Ball - May 7, 2010

People who are on Commencement Week will be given one non-transferable ticket to the ball. Anyone can purchase an additional ticket or choose to attend just the ball. The ticket price includes: Black-tie dinner and dancing at the Westin on the Waterfront in Boston and transportation from Bentley University. No assigned housing will be granted for people attending the ball only, but they will be allowed access into Commencement Week housing on the night of the ball.

Registration Instructions

Only students who pre-registered are eligible to pay on the date specified in an email you have received. Payment dates are TBD. To make the Commencement Week payment log into MyBentley.

 

Spa, Golf, and Fitness Specials!


The Mandara Spa has offered to give Bentley students a special 3 day rate of $35 for use of the Fitness Center. The usual charge is $15 per day. The Fitness Center facilities include work out equipment, lap pool, showers, classes, and steam room. There is also a basketball court at the Fitness Center, which there is no cost. Students just have to show their room keys to the Fitness Center.

The Mandara Spa is also giving Bentley students special discounts on spa services. Check out the Mandara Spa services as well as your Bentley student discount!

The Golf Club at the Atlantis, has offered to begin the twilight discounted rate of $120 at 1:00 p.m. (instead of usual 3:00 p.m.) on May 12 and 13. This is for Bentley University students ONLY and is a great deal! You can book your tee-times at any time now and you MUST bring and show your student ID at the golf shop when you check in to play to prove that you are a Bentley student. If you need to rent golf equipment or shoes, check the Atlantis web site above for costs. The golf course is closed on May 11 due to a Rotary Club Tournament.
