Payment Options


We are pleased to offer several payment options available to students. Please see below for information on all accepted payment methods and payment plans.

Online Payments:

Bentley University accepts payment via eCheck and credit card.

Undergraduate Day students may pay via eCheck at no extra cost. If you wish to pay with a credit card (MasterCard, Discover or American Express), you may do so through the CASHNet SmartPay system, however you will incur a service charge of 2.75% of the amount charged. 

Graduate and Evening students may pay with eCheck or credit card at no extra cost. Bentley University accepts VISA, MasterCard or Discover as an acceptable credit card for these students. 

Check and Cash Payments:

Paper check payments with the top portion of the bill should be mailed to the Bentley University lockbox address at:

Paper check and cash payments may be brought to the Cashier's Office in the Rauch Administration Building, or checks may be mailed to:

** Please remember to include your student ID number in the memo section of the check.

If the Cashier's Office is closed, we provide payment envelopes and have a secure drop box for you to make payments. The payment will be posted to your account on the next business day.

Wire transfer payments are initiated at your bank. Below is the information required to provide to your bank to be sure the transfer is successfully made and applied to the student account.

Semester Payment Plans:

Bentley University is implementing new payment plans for the next academic year.  To enroll for a payment plan, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into MyBentley and select the Finances tab
  2. Click on the BannerWeb Link named "e-Bill and e-Payment"
  3. Click "Payment Plans" link at top of page
  4. Select the appropriate payment plan and complete the appropriate steps

Full-time Undergraduate Student Payment Plan:

  • Semester-based
    • Fall Plan: July through November (enrollment ends September 20)
    • Spring Plan: December through April (enrollment ends February 20)
  • Maximum of 5 installments — based on enrollment date
  • Enrollment fee of $35 per payment plan (nonrefundable)
  • Enrollment in payment plan is only available online
  • Plan amount and payments automatically adjust as a result of changes to student account balance and are adjusted throughout the remainder of the installment plan
  • Installment payments due on 15th of each month
  • Payments may be made via electronic check or have automatic withdrawals from a bank account
  • E-mail reminders when payments are due
  • Late payment fee of $20 for payments not received within five days of the due date
  • Payment plan is terminated after two consecutive missed payments and account is subject to policies set forth by Student Financial Services (see our Policies and Procedures page)
