About Us
Mission Statement
The Office of Student Activities, in support of the Bentley mission and the Bentley Beliefs, provides undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities that complement the academic curriculum.
In collaboration with faculty, administration and students, the staff works to offer educational, cultural, social and recreational programming that fosters student learning and development.
Areas of responsibility for the office include: campus programming; performance and visual arts programs; leadership development; spirit initiatives and traditions; student organization and fiscal advisement; Greek-letter organizations; student center operations; and family outreach programs and services.
To accomplish social competency and group effectiveness, we:
- encourage ethical and socially responsible behavior
- create a sense of community and pride
- celebrate social and cultural diversity and awareness
- promote student centered learning and development
- provide opportunities for connecting classroom learning to practical experience
- seek innovative and collaborative practices toward
community building
