New Student Orientation

June 2010 (dates TBD)

All students entering Bentley should plan on attending New Student Orientation. During this program, you will work with current students and staff who will assist in your transition to Bentley. Students will meet with various members of the faculty and staff, work with current students (Orientation leaders), participate in social events and workshops designed to challenge and educate on Bentley-related issues. Student Activities Fair

January 22, 2010, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Student Center

The Association of Bentley Activities (ABA) and the Office of Student Activities hosts an activities fair every fall and spring semester. At this popular event, more than 90 Bentley student organizations join various departments to provide information about how to get involved at Bentley. 


Homecoming / Alumni Weekend 2010

October 2010 (dates TBD)

Homecoming activities and spirit initiatives kick off mid-week leading up to Saturday afternoon’s home football game. The Bentley Homecoming Falcon Festival features live music, games, competitions, prizes, food and more. Saturday morning jumpstarts with Falcon Zone spirit competitions throughout campus, followed by Bentley’s Falcon Storm down to lower campus for a free barbecue open to the Bentley community and the annual Homecoming Football game.

 

Family Weekend Winter Festival

February 19 to 21, 2010

Bentley University’s Family Weekend Winter Festival is the perfect occasion for students and families to shake off the winter doldrums. A spring term Family Weekend promises more student involvement, an opportunity for families to see how students lives are shaped by campus life. The schedule includes Basketball and hockey games, performances by student groups, dinner with President Larson, and more. Visit the Family Weekend Winter Festival web site.  Registration begins after Thanksgiving!


Spring Day
Saturday, April 24, 2010

Held annually at the end of April, this spring celebration is sponsored by various student organizations and the Division of Student Affairs. The Bentley Spring Day Kickball Tournament, Harry’s Hill Climb, a soccer tournament and a float-a-boat competition. Spearheaded by the Campus Activities Board, this event traditionally features a free barbecue, authentic carnival stands featuring fried dough and french fries, novelties, a LIVE concert, and much more.


Commencement Week

May 7 to 15, 2010

Commencement Week begins in May with Baccalaureate and continues until graduation. Traditionally, the week includes a trip to the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island (Bahamas), activities on the island, and a formal senior ball in Boston. For information on this and other senior events, please call 781.891.3182 or visit www.bentleyseniors.com.
