Student Webmasters: The Expression Web Environment

 Expression Web Environment

The first thing you will notice is there is no ribbon at the top of Microsoft Expression Web.  This is different from the other Office 2007 applications.
There are four main areas of the Web Environment:

  1. The Menu Bar: Commonly used items include File, Edit, Format, Tools, etc.
  2. The Toolbar: Frequently used buttons including Preview in a Browser
  3. The Task Pane: Provide options that enable you to perform specialized tasks.  The Folder List will be where you site information and pages are located.  The Tag, Toolbox, and Styles Task Panes are for more advanced features of Expression Web.
  4. The Status Bar: Displays information about the file you are currently working on in the editing window.
