Wilder Professors
Dave Carhart and Aaron Nurick are Bentley's first Wilder Teaching Professor appointees, overseeing Bentley’s Teaching and Learning Initiative.
The Wilder Professor of Mathematical Sciences and the Wilder Professor of Management and Psychology have teamed up to launch the TLI which encompasses the activities of the Wilder Teaching Professors -- while preserving the strengths of the former Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET).
The Wilder Teaching Professor appointments were established in January 2003, to give outstanding teachers the resources to focus their efforts and experience on improving pedagogy across the campus. Professors Carhart and Nurick are long-time members of the Bentley community, with nearly 50 years of full-time teaching experience between them. Both are recipients of the Gregory H. Adamian Award for Teaching Excellence.
