Bentley library

The library offers a variety of resources, collections, and services. The library's $1.4 million collections budget has enabled it to build an impressive array of electronic research resources, offering more than 70 databases and online access to 30,000 full-text journals. The significant research efforts of our faculty around business practice, coupled with the increasing demands of a high-caliber student body have resulted in the need for a $17 million renovation of our physical library that was completed spring 2006. It has become a hub of campus intellectual life, with 24 group collaboration rooms (19 of which offer large LCD displays) the Vitale, Caturano Company Art Gallery, Deloitte Cafe featuring Einstein's Bagels, 120 PCs, Computing Services (for laptop repairs, etc.), and 140,000 volumes shelved largely in the library's electronic compact stacks.

Staff

Professional librarians assist students in "knowledge navigation" -- researching projects, locating information, and finding resources. The library has an active teaching program to instruct users individually and in classes in the PC-equipped Library Training Center, located on the lower level of the building.
