Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan
Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Student Loans are available to students without financial need or whose need is not met by other resources. The interest rate is fixed at 6.8%, and interest accrues while the student is enrolled. The interest may be deferred and then capitalized when the loan goes into repayment six months after the student ceases half time enrollment.
