Center for Marketing Technology

The Center for Marketing Technology is a best-practices lab for studying the complex forces that fuel buying and selling in the new economy. Equipped with powerful, networked desktop PCs and specialized software, the center plays a key role in Information Age Marketing programs at Bentley.

Students gain a keen appreciation for the tools and techniques that drive better decision-making in marketing. For example, students can create and administer online surveys to test consumer preferences. Recent projects include students working with a major retailer to evaluate new market and customer opportunity, and partnering with the Trustees of Reservations to evaluate how young adults value conservation and the best ways to get them involved with the environment. Other applications in the Center for Marketing Technology focus on media planning, product design, and customer relationship management.

"I used the Center for Marketing Technology to do an industry overview and analysis. I've used different programs in the Trading Room and have learned a lot about stocks and bonds. This kind of technology is not found at other schools. Employers love to know that you are using the real software and technology that you'll use when you graduate."
