Corporate Finance and Accounting

The Corporate Finance and Accounting (CFA) major equips students to help organizations maximize their value. You'll become familiar with accounting and finance concepts, such as cost and profitability analysis, strategic planning, process improvement and business performance management. These skills will enable you to examine the capital structure of a corporation including its funding and the actions management takes to increase the value of the organization.

When you complete the major, you’ll be ready to leap into a finance or auditing career and be well prepared to begin the process of becoming a licensed Certified Public Accountant. An accelerated BS/MS program is available to select, high-performing students in this major. If you’re accepted, you can earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in four years of study.
