Bentley College

Majors/Minors

At Bentley, we encourage you to explore many different subjects. One of the best ways to do that is to consider both a major and minor area of study. For instance, a marketing major who’s interested in public relations might minor in English or Information Design and Corporate Communication. A finance major intrigued by global markets could minor in International Studies and even spend a semester studying abroad.

You choose a major area of study in your junior year. At that time, a faculty member from the appropriate department will be assigned as your academic adviser. Consult with your adviser to choose courses as well as for guidance on switching majors if your career interests shift over time. (Your First-Year Seminar facilitator serves as your adviser during the first two years.)
