Major Requirements

As a Media and Culture major, you’ll be required to take:

• Principles of Media and Culture
• Principles of Globalization and the Media
• Principles of Media Production
• Three Media and Culture-related electives
• One Media elective

In addition, you also must choose one of the following production courses:

• Design- and Time-Based Media
• Digital Photography
• Introduction to Video Production
• Making Documentaries
• Sound Design for New Media

The major also requires that you develop Intermediate II competency in a modern language.
