Philosophy Curriculum

Major Requirements

As a Philosophy major, you’ll be required to take:

  • Ethics
  • Introduction to Logic
  • Modern Philosophy: Knowledge and Values or Ancient and Medieval Philosophy
  • Theories of Knowledge or Theories of Reality
  • One additional course in the history of philosophy
  • Three Philosophy electives

In addition, the major also requires that you develop Intermediate II competency in a modern language.
