Interviews

The interview is an informal way for a Bentley admission representative to get to know you, learn more about your passions, academic interests, extracurricular accomplishments and responsibilities, and to understand what you are looking for in a college. This is a great setting for you to ask us any questions about Bentley or the admission process. Students typically interview in the spring of their junior year, during the summer between junior and senior year, or in the fall of their senior year. Transfer students can also schedule an interview if they are interested.

With whom will I meet?
You will interview one-on-one with an admission representative.  After the meeting, any family members are welcome to join you to ask their questions.

What should I wear?
Dress as you feel comfortable, but remember: you never have a second chance to make a first impression.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
It is not necessary to bring anything with you for the interview.

What is the format of the interview?
A one-on-one conversation takes place between the prospective student and the interviewer. Once that has concluded, any family or friends accompanying the student will be invited to join the discussion so that they may ask any questions they have. Interviews typically last about 30 to 45 minutes.

When can I interview?
Interviews are typically available hourly from 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on weekdays and on selected Saturday mornings in the fall, but the schedule varies throughout the semester.  If you are planning to visit campus during the summer, bear in mind that the Office of Undergraduate Admission is closed on Fridays from mid-May until mid-August. To check the schedule or sign up for an interview, please visit the appointment calendar.  If you require additional assistance, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 781.891.2244 or 800.523.2354 or e-mail us at ugavisits@bentley.edu.
