Open House

Sunday, October 4, 2009

We held our Fall Open House on Sunday, October 4, 2009. It was a great opportunity for high school seniors to see the campus, meet current students, faculty and staff, and learn more about what Bentley University has to offer.

If you missed Open House, but would like to visit campus, there's still plenty of time! Please use our appointment calendar to find a date and time that works for you.

Highlights of our 2009 Fall Open House included:

Learn about Career Services and Corporate Partnerships on Campus

Staff members discussed the exclusive approach Bentley takes to prepare you for outstanding internships and full-time positions at leading companies.

Better Understand the Process of Applying for Admission and Financial Assistance

We wanted to make the admissions process a little easier for students, so we created a session for students and their families to learn what is important to the Bentley Admission Committee and reviewed the profile of last year's accepted students. In addition, we discussed the many types of financial aid available and how to apply for them.

Meet Your Future Professors

Students learned about Bentely's top-notch academics by meeting their future professors. Faculty from all of the university's academic departments were available to discuss majors, minors, and ways students can personalize and enhance their studies.

Find Out How To Get Involved

Students participated in an interactive session where they met current students and learned about life on campus. The Dean of Students attended this session to provide his feedback about student life at Bentley.

Explore Our High-Tech facilities

Students checked out our high-tech facilities and had the opportunity to speak with lab managers about how students use our state-of-the-art facilities to analyze business projects, learn software applications used by top companies and gain exposure to business settings.

Grab a Trolley

Departing throughout the day, trolleys brought families around the campus and to our residence halls, Student Center and Athletic Center.

Food, food and more food!

No one went home hungry, with Boston’s famous clam chowder, October apple crisp, and many more snacks on the menu.
