Three-Room Suite

The three-room suite was designed by leading usability professionals and has been used as a model by other usability labs nationwide, including the one at the National Cancer Institute.

Testing Room

The testing room is spacious and filled with natural light. With its three workstations, the testing room can handle up to three test participants simultaneously. It also accommodates focus groups of up to 10 people comfortably.

The testing room also has a sitting area with comfortable chairs and a sofa where the participant and facilitator can discuss the upcoming session.

Control Room

The control room in this suite provides state-of-the-art monitoring and recording equipment. The room was designed by a team of audio, lighting and acoustical engineers to ensure the highest quality recording of the test. Here our staff can monitor test sessions and record notes on a networked computer.

Team Observation Room

The team observation room is equipped with 25 networked workstations that allow for large-scale testing and focus groups. This room is networked to the testing room so entire development and management teams can comfortably view tests.

Our advanced telecommunications network allows us to feed tests live to videoconferencing facilities throughout the country. Further, the lab's network is designed to allow clients to install their own server to preserve the security of products still under development.
