The Women's Leadership Institute at Bentley University will present its sixth annual career advancement conference for professional women in the first decade of their careers on Friday, May 13 from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in the Executive Dining Room in the La Cava Center at Bentley University.

This intensive one-day conference includes a keynote address by Dr. Bertice Berry, award-winning sociologist, author, lecturer, and entertainer.  In addition, attendees will participate in two (out of five) interactive, skill-building workshops. The day will also feature a luncheon panel of highly accomplished business women who will share experiences along their own professional journeys.  The panel is unique in that it presents three pairs of women; each pair is from the same organization-one senior executive, one middle level executive.  New this year, Gearing Up will include an afternoon session on negotiation and influencing skills that will include role playing exercises and different scenarios based on real life work situations.
