Marianne DelPo Kulow
Director, Women’s Leadership Institute
Associate Professor of Law, Tax and Financial Planning
Marianne DelPo Kulow is a lawyer, law professor and has been the director of the Women’s Leadership Institute since 2005. Marianne began her career as a lawyer, serving as a litigation associate first with bingham Dana (now Bingham Mccutchen) and then with Peabody and Arnold. She has been a law professor at Bentley University since 1993 and has published on various aspects of discrimination law. As the director of the WLI, she has transformed the institute from an organization that supported relevant research to a significant force in the professional development of women leaders. As the mother of two children under the age of eight, Marianne has spent the past decade balancing pregnancy, parenting and work outside the home and is well versed in the challenges that women professionals face. Marianne earned her BA magna cum laude from Harvard University, her MA from the University of Liverpool and her JD cum laude from Boston University School of Law.
Toni Wolfman
Executive in Residence
As executive-in-residence at the Women’s Leadership Institute at Bentley, Toni Wolfman serves as a resource to faculty, students and alumnae on issues affecting women in business and the professions, is a liaison between the university and senior women executives and professionals, and participates in research and programming for current and future women leaders. Toni brings to this position nearly 30 years of legal practice, primarily at Foley Hoag LLP in Boston, where she was a partner in its litigation department focusing on the resolution of complex commercial disputes. As an advocate for the advancement of women in business, Toni leads the corporate board search effort for The Boston Club, is past president of ION, serves on the Board of Trustees for Smith College, and heads Women Corporate Directors-Boston. Toni is an alumna of Smith College, holds an MA from Columbia University, and earned her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Debra Kennedy
Associate Director
Deb joined Bentley after more than 15 years as an executive in the energy industry, managing marketing and finance teams, and four years as the director of communications within an academic setting. She earned her MBA at Babson College and her BSBA at the University of Toledo in Ohio.
