In 2013, SALC students asked their fellow Falcons to make their first gift to the Bentley Fund — and student giving has been growing on campus ever since, proving to our entire community that we care about maintaining Bentley’s excellence.
Why does giving back to Bentley matter? Take a look.
Aside from building amazing relationships, SALC members serve as ambassadors for the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement to make a difference in the Bentley community on and off campus.

Want to join SALC?
Each fall, as our Bentley student community prepares for their final exams of the semester, SALC is there to support them with words of encouragement collected from alumni around the world. This advice is provided with something sweet to fuel them through the stress and late nights.
At most private colleges and universities, tuition doesn’t cover it all. Scholarship and financial aid, clubs and athletics, classes and research — these integral parts of our Bentley lives are supported in part by donations to the Bentley Fund from alumni, parents, friends and students — yes, students. Philanthropy Week is our chance to educate the student community on why we give back to Bentley to help fill the gap.
Senior Class Gift
At Bentley, being a donor is a big deal. Just ask everyone from the Class of 2019 who gave to their Senior Class Gift, showing why Bentley matters as a student — and beyond.
The number of donors — a.k.a., our giving participation — affects things like Bentley’s national rankings and the corporate and foundation funding that Bentley receives. The greater our numbers, the greater the value of our degree.
