Sal Lupoli Jr. ’23 was invited to the New England Patriots Rookie Minicamp. At Bentley, Lupoli Jr. Was the Northeast 10 Conference MVP for the 2023 season and led division II in tackles per game and tied the Bentley record for tackles in a single season. He was an AFCA first team All-American linebacker and finished his career as Bentley’s all-time leader in tackles.

Emma Gilchrist, MSMA ’21 and Ryan Guenette, Boston, Mass., met at Bentley during their sophomore year and are now celebrating their engagement. Philip Tocci married Anastasia Georgalis on March 16, 2024, at The Adolphus in Dallas, Texas. The two honeymooned throughout France and Italy. Many fellow Falcons celebrated with the newlyweds on their big day, including Anastasios Wallingford ’19 and Alexander Burns. The couple lives in Dallas, where Philip works as an associate at Goldman Sachs in asset-backed lending and Anastasia works as an associate at Goldman Sachs in syndicated bank loan trading.

Since 2020, Blue Seven has grown into a powerhouse, working with more than 250 brands, including Cape Cod Chips and Dillon's Small Batch Distillers. A highlight from the past five years includes Perkins being named to the Boston Business Journal’s 25 Under 25 list. She has hired several Bentley alumni over the years, including Esperanza Silva '16, who recently joined the team.

Inspired by their second son, born in July 2023 with a rare condition known as Apert Syndrome, Little Sparks Project aims to provide financial support to families facing similar challenges. In addition to providing direct support to families, the nonprofit also aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by families with children who have complex medical diagnoses. Alex DeMuth ’15 founded a new professional tennis event in the Detroit area in 2023. The Cranbrook Tennis Classic, an ATP Challenger Tour event, is heading into its third year and has become a resounding success. The tournament features top men's players from around the world and has quickly made an impact on Detroit sports culture attracting thousands of fans each year. The tournament also has benefitted the local community by donating over $50,000 to charitable organizations and inner-city tennis programs.

Michael Shanahan, Nashua, N.H., was awarded a graduate certificate in Domestic Violence Prevention from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in May 2024 related to his successful completion of the necessary course requirements in 2006. He worked as a law enforcement officer for 15 years (2007-2022) and was assigned to the patrol division of the Andover Police Department (Andover, Mass.). In 2007, he graduated from the Boston Police Academy (recruit class 46-07) and was sworn in as a full-time municipal law enforcement officer. He retired from the Andover Police Department in July 2022 and recently began working for the law offices of Leigh Panettiere, P.C. as a part-time legal assistant. He is currently enrolled in the Paralegal Studies associate’s degree program at Nashua Community College and is an active participant in peer support groups for first responders impacted by repeated exposure to traumatic events in a professional capacity.

Lisa Willauer ’90

Lisa Willauer, one of the founding partners of Glastonbury-based accounting and advisory firm Fiondella, Milone and LaSaracina LLP (FML CPAs), has been named to Forbes’ inaugural Best-In-State CPAs 2025 list. FML is the only firm in Connecticut to have three CPAs receive this honor. Forbes Best-In-State CPAs list is the sequel to last year’s Forbes Top 200 CPAs list, which Willauer was also named to as just one of four honorees from Connecticut. This year’s list identifies 1,000 of the finest CPAs from across all 50 states. Willauer co-founded FML in 2002 along with Frank Milone and Jeff Fiondella. Under their leadership, the firm has grown to 120 employees with 19 partners across six offices throughout Connecticut. Willauer helps bring young companies from inception all the way through to exit. She understands all the technical aspects, going up against other firms doing due diligence on FML’s work, and she puts her clients in a position to enjoy a smooth transition to exit with no exposures. She also works with entrepreneurial programs at local colleges, including Yale and UConn, supporting these programs by educating students on concepts of tax and accounting while in the infant stages of forming their own companies. Willauer also gives presentations through BioCT, Connecticut Innovations, Angel Investor Forum, The District in New Haven and incubator hubs throughout the state. Phil Pacino ’75 recently retired after 38 years of servicing on the elected Reading Municipal Light Board of Commissioners. The Commission oversees the light district of Reading, North Reading, Wilmington and Lynnfield.
