...The RSM Art Gallery is pleased to announce that Pareidoliac Grotesques by Ellen Wetmore opens on Friday, April 26. To celebrate, the Gallery is hosting an artist talk at 5:00 p.m. followed by a reception from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Please stop by to meet the artist, view the exhibit, and enjoy some light refreshments. What better way to end the final full week of classes?!
...Planning your study sessions for finals? You'll be happy to hear that extended study hours will begin on Monday, April 29. The library will open at 6:30 a.m. on all weekdays and stay open until 2:00 a.m., excluding Friday & Saturday.
Additionally, the library’s classroom on the lower level (room 11) will be open throughout exams as a bonus quiet study space to accommodate more students. We expect the library to be busy during exams—please be respectful of those studying around you.
...The library will be closed on Saturday, April 27, to accommodate the Spring Day concert being held on the Library Quad. No access to the building will be permitted and library services will not be available. The IT Help Desk will be providing remote support from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Saturday – visit their website for contact information.
...While surviving cancer is a difficult endeavor, writing a book about the whole experience and publishing it with an open license is an additional struggle. When Barabra Reul, a music professor, was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2020, she underwent numerous radiation and chemo treatments. Reul is fortunately cancer-free and has written two memoirs, Perfect Timing (2021) and Right On Time (2023), which chronicle her treatment and battle with cancer. Both memoirs are completely free to the public with zero restrictions.

MRI-Simmons recently launched a new search platform, MRI-Simmons Catalyst. Like its predecessor MRI-Simmons Insights, Catalyst provides access to consumer demographic, psychographic, brand preference, and media data from the MRI-Simmons national consumer surveys. The Catalyst platform update offers a streamlined search process and new analytics and data visualizations.
