Bentley Facilities is recognized as TOP PERFORMER in Capital Profile Performance! Bentley has consistently outperformed peers in overall capital investment in existing space over the years, averaging above peers since 2004. We had substantial investment growth in both annual stewardship and asset reinvestment, higher than our peer average in upkeeping our deferred maintenance and space renewals. This significant investment in capital has given Bentley the ability to modernize existing buildings, therefore, enabling a younger campus age profile compared to our peer average. As of 2018, only 4% of our buildings are rated over 50 years as a result, compared to the 32% peer average. Roughly 27% of our buildings are profiled between 25 to 50 years, 40% are between 10 to 25 years and 29% are categorized as under 10 years. Other areas that Bentley has been classified as a TOP PERFORMER includes Total Planned Maintenance. We exceed our peers in planned maintenance with a 14% increase from 2017 to 2018.
