For 25 Years, Bentley Service-Learning Has Helped Students Make the World Better (Video)
Bentley is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its service-learning program. One of the first such programs in the nation, it provides students with the opportunity to use their business skills to help a variety of nonprofit organizations further their missions. As program director Jonathan White explains in this video, the students begin in the classroom, move out into the field, and return to the classroom for presentation and analysis. They also largely manage the program itself.
Alison Davis-Blake, the former business school dean at the Universities of Michigan and Minnesota, was inaugurated as the eighth president of Bentley University in a ceremony attended by students, faculty, staff, alumni and other members of the extended Bentley community.
