Each Spring, the Bentley graduate community comes together to elect two dedicated and capable students to lead the GSA. The Graduate Student Association, affectionately referred to as the GSA, is an organization dedicated to unifying the Bentley graduate population in order to establish a valuable network, shape school policies, and nurture the personal and professional growth of each GSA member. Any student enrolled in a graduate level course at the university is automatically recognized as a member of the GSA.

As a business professional, you are often called upon to develop innovative and novel solutions to various challenges within the workplace. Some industries rely upon on this skill more than others, but regardless of your profession, creativity is an asset that will be instrumental in many situations. Each of us is born with a capacity for creativity — the key is knowing how to access this knowledge. Here a few simple ways to get those creative juices flowing to help connect you with that unique solution.

I started my MBA in September six months ago. When I recently sat in the library I looked out of the window and I realized how fast the seasons changed. Sometimes time flies and the poem below remembers me to consciously live each and every moment.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a South African social-rights activist, once said: “We inhabit a universe that is characterized by diversity.” Cultures, religions, political systems, businesses, landscapes, climate or seasons — we can find diversity in all of them and the list could go on and on. Diversity creates contrasts and contrasts make life exciting; some people even say contrasts make life possible. A friend of mine mentioned that he finds his evening beer tastes better after a hard working day.

About a year ago, I had just returned from frolicking throughout London and Paris and, of course, spending some time in Germany for my GBE, also known as the “Global Business Experience.”

Hello to everybody from Atlanta! And Happy New Year! For Bentley MBA students, it’s time to build a business network in Atlanta, home to Coca-Cola, CNN, and other Fortune 500 companies. During this trip, our goal is to identify how companies, universities and professional organizations generate value for themselves and society. We are going to analyze the talent-development programs, investment opportunities and the carpentry industry. It should be fun! One of the highlights was a trip to the headquarters of CNN.
