Five Tips To Remember When Dressing For an Interview (I'm talking to you, ladies!)

Now that finals are over, I've started interviewing for some spring internships and figured now is a great time to share some of my tips with you all! Whether its an interview for an internship, full-time job or graduate school, these five simple tips are easy to execute and are great for any young female professional to know!

Hi guys, Time to EXPLORE, FAITHFUL READERS!!! I've been talking to you about the course and the school beyond my vocabulary until now. This is the time to strap my seat belt and explore Boston and areas around. With hundreds of icy snowy skating rinks/ skiing areas in the city at your disposal, it was never easier to enjoy the snow and socialize with the city bugs. Boston Common and the Community Skating Rink make for some good pain with pleasure, especially when you're as inexperienced as I am. Boston has a variety of treats to keep your excitement hanging in there!

Part of the ELMBA curriculum is a required Corporate Immersion course. In my experience it was more like an internship than a class. The course focuses on solving current business problems with company management, and they mean it. Each week we had EXECUTIVES from our partner company come to class. EACH WEEK.

Every fall semester the GSA (Graduate Student Association) holds their annual gala. Usually there is a theme, and this year it was The Roaring 20s…in other words GATSBY! Which was perfect timing seeing that the remake of The Great Gatsby came out this year – if you haven’t seen the film yet, you must. Visual masterpiece is a total understatement, and the costumes…GAH. I swooned over everything.

I'm sure most of you must have the read the Calvin and Hobbes (CnH) collection. I'm a big fan of the comic strip series. Some think the kid in me never goes to sleep, some think i'm thinking less and imagining more, and some.... some simply ignore my addiction! ... Calvin is one of those kids who imagines of saving the world along with his faithful tiger (who by the way is a fiction in a fiction.. as in he is a figure of Calvin's imagination)...

The academic portion of the Bentley MBA kicks off with a twist. The first two weeks of class turned to a preview to the leadership theme, in a class named “Thinking about Thinking” — led by professors from the Management and English/Media Studies departments. The goal of this class was to open our minds to the environment of education and to peer-led learning, and to break the cycle of the business grind for many of us.
