As part of her new role as associate dean of Wellbeing and BentleyPlus, Rebecca Jimenez is thinking about wellness on campus — and beyond — 24/7. In her job she oversees, in addition to the counseling and health centers, the BentleyPlus program, a unique offering that helps undergrads showcase their strengths and stand out in school and in the job market. The program identifies 11 durable skills (including leadership, work ethic and ethical reasoning) that students can work on during their time on campus through participation in out-of-class experiences. “At Bentley, we prepare students not just to graduate but to flourish in every aspect of their life. Student success begins with physical and mental well-being and building the skills that matter most in today’s workplace,” Jimenez says.
