Bentley Library at Night

The Bentley campus community will come together for a student-led vigil to remember the 26 victims of the tragic school shooting in Newtown, CT. It will be held on the evening of December 17th at 9:15 p.m. in the Back Bay Rooms in the Student Center.

The vigil to commemorate the 20 children and six adults who lost their lives on Friday, December 14 is being sponsored by dozens of campus organizations. The event will include student speakers, singing and reflection.

Bentley University President Gloria Larson expressed the following message to members of the university community this weekend:

"As so many of us struggle to understand the incomprehensible, senseless loss of lives in Newtown, Connecticut on Friday, we are keeping the families of the victims and their community in our thoughts and prayers. A student-led vigil is being planned for Monday evening, December 17. I hope we all can find some comfort in the closeness of our community and our own families.”
