A team of Bentley University students took first place at the College Face-Off: Social Media for Social Good, a Boston-based intercollegiate challenge aimed at developing marketing strategies for non-profit organizations. Bentley senior Aaron Sacks is the recipient of the 2011 SCORE/SBA Scholarship Award in Entrepreneurship. A Marketing major, Sacks won the competition for the $1,000 scholarship on the basis of his academic performance and entrepreneurial perspective. The competition is sponsored by the Bentley University Management Department under the leadership of management faculty members Jeffrey Shuman, Hans Thamhain, and Fred Tuffile. It is funded by the Herbert Low Scholarship and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) a subdivision of the Small Business Administration (SBA). The award was announced at the SCORE Award Luncheon at Bentley on September 23.  ...
