Student Alumni Leadership Council

The Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) is a student group committed to a culture of student and alumni engagement that fosters community, philanthropy and impact. Members of SALC drive programs, engagement and education through committee work grounded in Alumni Relations, Recruitment, Communications and Events.

SALC Goals

The three main goals of the Student Alumni Leadership Council are to educate, empower and engage students and alumni:

  • Educate: Serve as experts to educate peers on engagement opportunities and the importance of philanthropic support to the Bentley Fund. SALC members lead events on National Philanthropy Day.
  • Empower: Empower students to create a legacy while on campus. In support of Falcons Forward Giving Day and in partnership with Annual Giving, SALC hosts events during the week to engage their peers in joining the movement of “One Day, One Million,” Senior Class Gift and other philanthropy opportunities.
  • Engage: Encourage school spirit, strengthen professional networks and build a community that engages students throughout their time as students through the transition to alumni. Falcon Fuel allows students to engage with alumni businesses and receive free samples of products to fuel them before finals each semester.
