UX Certificate Program

If you want to pursue advanced study but can't commit to a graduate degree program, a certificate offers an ideal solution. Bentley's UX Certificate program is one of the oldest and most respected programs of its kind in the country. The User Experience (UX) certificate at Bentley University has educated thousands of UX professionals during the past 18 years.

The UX certificate serves a wide range of working professionals, including user experience designers and researchers, usability specialists, product managers, marketing specialists, developers, engineers, business analysts, and senior management.

An expert faculty and innovative curriculum are at the core of the UX certificate program. Take courses on the Bentley campus, on the web, or at your place of business. The certificate program aligns with the leading Bentley graduate program in human factors in information design (HFID) and our internationally recognized UXC, to ensure a focus on the most current research, methods and market requirements.

UX Certificate Program Testimonials

"As an Interaction Designer, Bentley’s UX Boot Camp allowed me to participate in workshops that provided new insights on how to tackle design challenges while at the same time exposing me to the complete product lifecycle. It was great work with such a diverse range of participants, this added to the richness of the experience and made the sessions very interesting. The five-day program themes are well organized and executed. The instructors were a pleasure to work with, as well as experts in the subject matter. "

Eny G. Hathaway Interactive Designer - UX, Kronos Incorporated

“Completing the User Experience Certification Program provided me with up-to-date research technology and methodologies which I’m able to implement in my current role. The teaching staff is excellent and are experts in their field, often having the class solve real design and usability issues. I often recommend this program to my teammates and colleagues and highly recommend it for anyone trying to improve their user experience skills”

Jean Blankenburg – Sr. Researcher, Dell Inc.

“I have been creating designs for years, but after completing the User Experience Certificate Program at Bentley University, I now embrace the user perspective.  Instead of the most expedient, esthetically pleasing, or cost-effective model, I now approach design using profiles, scenarios, ethnographic data, usability testing, and analysis of underlying causes.  Now I view almost every experience from the user perspective.”

Eleanor Tunney

"One of the things I appreciated most about the Bentley University User Experience Certificate Program training was its flexibility to accommodate me at different points in my career and in my involvement with UX. I feel like at any point I was able to plug into the program, I was getting timely and useable information, presented by experts, using real-world examples, with room for my own real-life questions and projects. I appreciated the different forms in which the information can be taken -- the Master's Degree, Certificate Program, User Experience Boot Camp, and individual courses. The administrative support I received during my long participation (and eventual graduation) from the program was superb."
